Meet Barbara Morgan

With nearly 30 years prosecuting cases in South Carolina, Barbara Morgan built her reputation on fairness, rigor, and a steadfast commitment to justice. Appointed by Governor Campbell as the 2nd Circuit Solicitor, she was elected to that role four times - serving Aiken, Bamberg, and Barnwell counties for almost two decades and leading a team that reduced case backlogs by 25% and secured critical reforms in victim‑advocacy services.

Barbara has devoted her entire life to Aiken. Throughout her four terms as 2nd Circuit Solicitor - and in the years since - she has led community‑safety initiatives, guided local nonprofits, and delivered practical solutions. With her proven leadership and deep community roots, she’s uniquely positioned to steer Aiken toward a stronger, more prosperous future.
